Overthinking leads to failure



               OVERTHINKING LEADS TO FAILURE

 

                              Sometimes when a person starts to overthink ,it definitely leads to depression. Thinking over a problem is a good thing,but obsessing and overthinking over a problem is a bad thing and is injurious to our success.


                                I can say this for sure as this was my case.I think we should try our best and if after that you fail ,you should not regret .Rather than regretting ,you should accept it as destiny or SHOULD  try again, it depends on you . I was very much closer to success at one point in my life .BUT one thing that lead me to failure as well as depression and OCD was my mind obsessing over my perfection of goals . Even my mind started thinking unreal things .Not only my mind thought about baseless and unreal things ,but also my mind started believing and accepting that thinking as " REALITY"  .

                             I can say that i have struggled a lot with my mind. It seems easy to stop overthinking but in actual it is not. But we can surely improve our habit of stopping overthinking and after improving that habit we can reach to the point when our brain is programmed to think only about things that are reasonable and things that require our serious attention . It would be more clear by my example;

 MY STORY AND EXPERIENCE AND A LOT OF LESSONS FOR YOU GUYS TO LEARN:

                       In 2016, when i were preparing for my medical college entrance test , i were preparing very hard and were fully passionate to get admission in medical college .It was one of my biggest dreams . I worked hard from dawn until dusk. I studied almost 18 hrs a day. My preparation was so good that i used to top my academy tests and my teachers were confirm about my admission. During my preparation process ,my mind started to overthink over simplest things and made  them complicated. My mind became hungry for perfection. I discussed my thoughts which were mostly negative  with my mom, dad and siblings ,they laughed at me. I became more and more depressed that instead of studying , I spent most of my time thinking over things my mind created. Deep inside my mind, i knew that whatever i m thinking is totally baseless.But i took almost 3 months to get over that baseless thoughts .Later ,it became my habit to overthink over smaller things.



HOW IT LEAD ME TO FAILURE?

                      May be you guys will think that i m some kind of insane or mentally ill, but its not true. I was not insane or some kind of psycho, I just did a mistake, learnt from it and grew. Right before 2 weeks of my entrance test , i got into depression and got some panic attacks . A psychiatrist gave my some medicines which helped me getting out of depression . But it was too late , i missed that opportunity, that dream, that goal and gave up. I accepted that as my destiny and moved on in my life .But what i learnt in this process is amazing and I wanna share that learning and experience of mine with you people so that you people could understand that how our mind tricks us and play games with us . Here are some information, i m going to share.


HOW OUR MIND TRICKS US ? HOW IS OUR MIND OUR OWN BIGGEST ENEMY? HOW TO PLAY SMART TO COPE WITH OUR MIND'S TACTICS? 

  •            Whenever we set our goal and obsess over that goal ,then our mind is switched more towards negative thinking and fear of failure. Our mind shows us dark side of things and shows us that we should be more cautious and should avoid blunders , which is obviously a good thing. As i told you guys before that thinking is good but overthinking is bad .No genius ever existed without thinking and reasoning but overthinking leads our mind to create things that are not real but are our own imaginations. And obsessing over our own imaginations make us think that whatever we are thinking is real despite people laughing at you and telling you that whatever you are thinking is not true and is only your imagination.            
           
  •            The only way to save from your mind tactics and to avoid baseless thinking is that you should check your mind.Now, you guys are thinking that how is it possible to check your thinking,,,,,,. This is very easy. Our mind is a thought generating machine . Whenever a thought comes in your mind, see if its relevant, if it makes any sense, if it's negative or positive, will this thought help you or will it create problems for you.  You guys have to do this without getting involved. You guys have to avoid thinking over these thoughts . I am just telling you guys to watch your thoughts and  not thinking about them as thinking over them will make them triggered and can make things complicated.


  •         As our minds are our own biggest enemies . So we should not trust every thought it generates. Basically our mind works separately than our body. We are not our minds. So it depends on us whether we like to think over thoughts our mind is generating or not. In my experience , mostly our minds think and works negatively .And most of the negative thoughts our minds generates are baseless and is just a habit of our minds . As we know that it is our mind's nature to warn us from dangers. So its our biological benefit. But in all cases ,our mind is not telling truth to us . It is our friend , when it warns us from real dangers and at the same time ,it is our biggest enemy whenever it causes negative feelings and emotions about things that cannot harm us.                  


       
  •            The effects of overthinking and negative thinking is that it can cause depression, mental illness, OCD , bipolar disorder and also failure in getting success. To ask me more about this topic ,comment .
